Polyvagal Theory

Our autonomic nervous system (ANS) is constantly giving us cues of risk or safety. Incorporating a Polyvagal informed practice means that I can help my clients tune in to these messages, make them conscious, understand the messages of their ANS and start to re shape it. This means that instead of the habitual response which maybe one one of ‘survival’ we can find ways to find safety and connection within ourselves, with others, the environment or even further such as with spirit or the universe. After completing the Foundations of Polyvagal Informed Practice Part I I feel empowered to integrate this into my practice with very positive results. This practice offers a wealth of resources which I can help my clients tap into and develop alongside the other modalities that we may be using.
